What’s the latest on camp?
We are almost full!
Yes, that’s right! We are almost at full capacity!
For those of you who have applied to come as a camper, you should have received an acceptance letter by now. If you’ve applied to come work as staff, we’re in the process of sending acceptance notifications to you right now. Department Heads and Activity Heads are being notified about those who will be working on their staff, so all the pieces are falling into place for an awesome camp experience.
Stay tuned for more information in the days ahead!
What an unexpected treat! Mr. Jonathan McNair just passed along the video below that he received from the 2024 Living Youth Camp in the Philippines. Looks like everyone had a blast. It’s amazing how similar the camps can seem, even though they take place in so many different places in the world. Enjoy!
The LYP Texas Teen Camp for 2024 is now a memory, and most campers and staff have returned home. But here, in this final post, are pics from the final day. Enjoy reliving the memories, beginning with this all-camp photo.
The last day consists of all-camp activities, with friendly competitions and team challenges. Here are some pics.
Then came the Final Banquet!
Here are the Brother and Sister Dorm pairs (all dressed up!)—individually and then together—in ascending order: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
And then, the Final Dance: A lot of setup, a lot of dancing, and a lot of happy grins for the photo booth.
Thanks to all who served and all who came! It was a wonderful summer, and we’re looking forward to next year!
