Airport Information
Airport transfers will be provided from Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW), Dallas Love Field (DAL) or Tyler Pounds Regional Airport (TYR).
Airport transportation fees: $25.00 each way.
Airport Arrival & Departure Restrictions:
We will be utilizing a coach service to transport everyone who is flying in to and out of camp this year. More detailed information will be included in your acceptance packet. Please do not book your tickets until you have received your acceptance packet, as we will be unable to assist in transportation of people outside the available window.

Departure Date

For those flying, please plan on finding a morning flight, as everyone will be taken to the airport in time for morning flights.

Camper Life
The Activities for 2026:
Aquatics, Canoeing, Communications, Dance, First Aid Class, Gym Sports, Life Roles (Men’s), Life Roles (Women’s), Music, Outdoor Skills, SEP (Scripture Education Program), and Ultimate Frisbee.
The Staff Service Areas for 2026:

The Campus
Lone Star Camp is located on two hundred seventy-eight acres in the beautiful pinewoods of East Texas. In the heart of this camp lies a picturesque, spring-fed twenty-five acre lake. Housing includes rustic and modernized cabins, houses, and boys and girls dormitories. Facilities include a welcome center, air-conditioned gymnasium (complete with classrooms and a dance studio), an outdoor pavilion (seats three thousand), a cafeteria (seats four hundred), grass-covered playing fields for soccer, football and softball, an in-ground twenty-five-meter outdoor swimming pool, an archery range, and two dozen RV sites.
