Attention all Teens!
Applications are invited for this year’s summer camp to be held once more at Chevetogne, in the beautiful Ardennes region of Belgium. The camp arrival date is Friday 4th August 2017 and departure will be Sunday 13th August 2017. The focal point of camp will be two adjacent Chalet-style housing units with comfortable bunk beds, shower facilities, and where all meals and indoor activities will take place. Once again an exciting range of outside activities are in preparation.
The application/tuition fee per camper (ages 12-19) is £130/€165.
Staff volunteers, especially those with prior experience of summer camp are welcome to apply.

LYC 2017 – CHEVETOGNE BELGIUM
DESCRIPTION: Come and join the excitement of the teen summer camp held at the Chevetogne Country Estate, situated about 1 hour south of Brussels. Each year teens from all over the UK, Europe and beyond gather to enjoy an action packed week of fun and fellowship in the beautiful Belgian Ardennes. So come and help make this year’s camp an adventure where we’ll meet new friends, renew old acquaintances and expand our knowledge of God and all of His creation.

Staff Arrival: Tuesday, August 1 2017 (the earlier the better)
Camper Arrival: Friday, August 4 2017 (after 2 PM and no later than 4 PM)
Departure Date: Sunday, August 13 2017 (before noon)
Activities this year (schedule permitting) will include:
Christian Living (do not list for sign up)
Orienteering, bush craft, nature discovery,
Etiquette, speech, table topics
Swimming, water polo,
Evening leadership activities

There will be a bus pickup/drop-off for camp from the airports and train station. fee: €20
APPLICANT AGE INFORMATION:
Campers ages 12-19.
Adult staff ages 19 and up. For staff positions, previous experience as an LYC camper or staff member would be helpful, as would completing PHED236/THL236 (Christian Camp Leadership) from Living University. Age, experience, and interests will be taken into consideration.
